Clay Date: Contemporary Ceramics from the kil.n.it studio

Art Month Sydney is excited to present an exhibition of contemporary ceramics from artists working in the Kil.n.it studios in Glebe - Mechelle Bounpraseuth, Angela Butler, Jan Downes, Scott Duncan, David Helmers, Caitlyn Hurley, Vivienne Hill, Rachael McCallum, and Luke O’Connor, Madeleine Preston. Kil.n.it is a not for profit creative space, providing studios, workshop space and classes to those with an explorative, avant-garde attitude to ceramics. Clay Date explores the community of practice that has emerged in this space, the diverse and experimental approaches of its artists, and the renewed contemporary interest in this ancient art form.
