Trauma[scapes] - After Fukushima
Artist talk with Sam Doctor and Stanislava Pinchuk
Chalk horse hosts a panel discussion with Sam Doctor, Stanislava Pinchuk aka Miso, and meditated by Dr Oliver watts. Doctor and Miso have both explored inside the uninhabited, radioactive Fukushima exclusion zone caused by the nuclear catastrophe in 2011. Doctor produces Large scale photographs and Video-works of decayed terrains, Miso constructs large scale paper works using data mapping to construct her own topographies of conflict and war zones. Trauma-[scapes] will examine two different mappings of the same traumatised landscape by Doctor and Miso discussing their personal experience’s while working within the Fukushima exclusion zone.
