BELLE ARTSTART 2018

Now in its third year, ArtStart is Belle magazine's annual competition for emerging painters aged 16 to 25.

Sponsored by Belle Property and Studio Gallery Melbourne, ArtStart aims to unearth Australia's brightest unrepresented artists, offering a major prize of $10,000, second prize of $5000 and third prize of $2500.

ArtStart is a prize with a difference as all entrants must be willing to sell their work at the ArtStart exhibition event – the artists keep the proceeds – and all submissions must be painted on the same size canvas (36”x24”).

This year's ArtStart exhibition event will be held at sustainable furniture emporium Totem Road, where guests will have the opportunity to purchase an original artwork by an emerging art star for a fixed price of $550.
