NATIONAL ART SCHOOL GALLERY

The National Art School Gallery is a free, museum-quality gallery open to the public throughout the year. It offers vibrant and engaging exhibitions, events, publications and programs that explore the diversity of art making that everyone can enjoy. The Gallery operates within the unique campus of the National Art School, Australia’s first and most famous art school. The National Art School occupies the site of the old Darlinghurst Gaol, a remarkable and beautiful colonial landmark located in East Sydney’s renowned cultural precinct. The National Art School Gallery leads the exchange between creative processes, engagement and learning in the visual arts for the benefit of artists, students and the wider community.
