GALLERY OPENING HOURS: 11AM–6PM MONDAY–SUNDAY
The gallery represents a diverse group of Australian, New Zealand, and internationally based contemporary artists. Both established and emerging, this group produce provoking and relevant exhibitions. STATION also punctuates its programme with solo and curated group exhibitions that explore the works of new and established practitioners’ outside of the gallery fold, allowing the gallery to be flexible within the contemporary climate, whilst extending its discourse to a larger scope. STATION creates exhibitions to sit within an international milieu, to frame its artists within a larger global dialogue, as well as continuing to expand their positions nationally. Furthermore, the gallery works with international artists, offering engagement with an extended Australian audience and building upon the contextualisation of an International Australian art scene. STATION facilitates off-site exhibitions, annually publishes artist books and monographs, and participates in Australian and New Zealand art fairs with a desire to travel further abroad to present commanding displays in international art fairs.
