WORKSHOP ARTS CENTRE & EWART GALLERY
The Workshop Arts centre is an independent not-for-profit art centre and workshop facility established in 1961 to promote and foster appreciation in the creative and visual arts.
The Ewart Gallery is housed within the Workshop Arts Centre. The Ewart Gallery, named in honour of the WAC’s founder Joy Ewart, was officially opened in 1996 by artist John Coburn. The purpose of the space is to encourage and stimulate interest in art in the local and wider community and to support and promote the work of emerging and established artists.
